It's a Fact: Most company ‘trainers’ have never been trained on how to train!
It's very common for most internal and company trainers to rise through the ranks and move into the
position of "trainer" because they are usually the most familiar and adept with the products or services
and they are already in place. These people have also shown they're able to share their knowledge and
expertise with good results.
Unfortunately, history also shows that many of these "through the ranks" trainers are promoted into a
position of responsibility for which they have not been fully trained to do.
